Scope
This schedule specifies requirements for the SAERTEX-LINER® Gas Type S+ UV light cured liner system as supplied by SAERTEX multiCom® GmbH for replacement of cast iron and steel gas distribution mains.
Description
The system comprises a glass fibre reinforcement nonwoven sleeve which is factory impregnated with an ultra-violet (UV) light curing polyester or vinyl ester thermosetting resin. When installed and cured, this forms a full length cured-in-place structural liner within the host pipe.
It is applicable to gas distribution systems up to 2 bar operating pressure in Great Britain. It is not applicable to service and end fitting connections.
